TopClass LMS February 2026 Release: New Capabilities Designed for Association Learning Programs

Associations face a unique challenge when delivering education. They must support continuing education credits, certifications, corporate training, and member learning goals, all while managing complex administrative processes.

The February 2026 release of TopClass LMS introduces several enhancements designed to help associations scale their learning programs more efficiently while improving the learner experience.

This release focuses on practical improvements that matter to associationsโ€”better program management, smarter course development tools, improved reporting, and stronger branding options.

๐Ÿ“œ Deliver Learning at Scale with Learning Contracts

One of the biggest operational challenges for associations is distributing learning to corporate members, partners, chapters, or group purchasers.

The new Learning Contracts capability addresses this directly by providing a structured way to manage bulk learning access.

Administrators can create contracts that define:

๐Ÿ’  Seat limits
๐Ÿ’  Validity periods
๐Ÿ’  Associated learning activities
๐Ÿ’  Invitation codes

Two contract models are supported:

Voucher contracts โ€“ one seat per activity invitation
Subscription contracts โ€“ one seat per learner across multiple activities

Contract administrators can invite learners and track contract usage through a dedicated dashboard.

For associations that sell training packages or provide education to organizations, Learning Contracts make it far easier to manage group access while maintaining clear oversight of usage.

๐Ÿค– AI-Assisted Test Creation That Keeps You in Control

Creating assessments is an essential part of professional education programs, but it can also be time-consuming.

The new AI Test Generator helps administrators quickly create draft questions using course content, including:

 ๐Ÿ’  Entire courses
 ๐Ÿ’  Individual course items
๐Ÿ’  Custom text from external sources
 ๐Ÿ’  Video content

When used with videos, TopClass can automatically convert spoken content into text, generate captions, and create related assessment questions.

Importantly, the system is designed to support administrators rather than replace them. All generated questions can be reviewed, edited, or replaced before being added to an assessment.

For associations developing continuing education programs, this capability can significantly reduce the time required to build assessments while still maintaining full editorial oversight.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Helping Members Stay on Track with Credit Tracking

Many associations rely on learning programs to help members maintain professional certifications or meet continuing education requirements.

The new My Credit Tracker widget provides learners with a simple way to monitor their progress throughout the year.

The widget allows learners to:

๐Ÿ’  See earned credits by type at a glance
๐Ÿ’  Track progress within a configurable timeframe
 ๐Ÿ’  Set personal learning goals

For example, a member can set a goal of earning 20 CPD credits in the current calendar year, with progress tracked visually as they complete learning activities.

This feature helps make continuing education more transparent and motivating for learners while reinforcing the value of an associationโ€™s educational offerings.

๐Ÿ’ผ Stronger Branding for Professional Recognition

Completed learning documents and certificates often represent a key moment of achievement for members.

TopClass now allows Super Administrators to customize the header and footer of Completed Learning PDFs, including the organizationโ€™s logo and branding elements.

This gives associations more control over how their learning programs are presented while ensuring that certificates and completion records reflect the organizationโ€™s professional identity.

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ A More Engaging Learning Experience

The February release also introduces improvements that help associations highlight their educational offerings more effectively.

Learning Streams from Catalog Categories

Catalog categories can now be displayed directly on the TopClass landing page as Learning Streams, making it easier for learners to discover relevant programs.

Featured Learning Carousel

Featured courses now appear in a carousel within the catalog, helping organizations promote priority programs or newly released learning activities.
Together, these updates help guide learners toward the most relevant educational opportunities.

๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ Easier System Customization

Associations often tailor their LMS environments to match their learning strategy and branding.

The redesigned Customization menu simplifies this process, making it easier for Super Administrators to configure the appearance and layout of TopClass without requiring technical expertise.

Administrators can more easily manage:

 ๐Ÿ’  Landing page layouts
 ๐Ÿ’  Learning Streams
 ๐Ÿ’  Interface customization

This flexibility allows organizations to adapt the platform to their specific learning programs and member needs.

๐Ÿ“Š New Analytics Capabilities (Beta)

TopClass has also introduced the first in a new series of interactive dashboards.

The Online Activity Overview Dashboard provides a live snapshot of learner engagement and progress within online learning activities.

Although currently released in beta, this dashboard gives administrators an early look at upcoming analytics tools that will help organizations better understand participation and course performance.

๐ŸŽ‰ Additional Enhancements for Day-to-Day Administration

Several other improvements in this release are designed to make everyday LMS management easier for administrators.

These include:

๐Ÿ’  Managers can now transfer users between groups they manage
๐Ÿ’  Automatic enrollment into single-session instructor-led sessions within blended activities
๐Ÿ’  A new Activity Evaluation Report combining completions, exam results, and evaluation responses
๐Ÿ’  Enhanced sales reporting with external ID fields for easier integrations and reconciliation
๐Ÿ’  The ability to hide offerings from the catalog while still using them in certification programs
๐Ÿ’  Custom language strings for deeper localization
๐Ÿ’  External catalog redirects for organizations using external storefronts
 ๐Ÿ’  Updated Salesforce integration security
๐Ÿ’  More flexible Learning Stream design options
๐Ÿ’  Improved iMIS EMS integration, including writeback of in-progress test status

These enhancements collectively help reduce administrative complexity while improving the flexibility of the learning environment.

๐ŸŽ“ Designed for the Complexity of Association Learning

Associations operate learning programs that are often more complex than traditional corporate training environments. They must support certifications, continuing education credits, external partners, group enrollments, and professional recognition.

The February 2026 TopClass release continues to build on capabilities that support these needs, including:

 ๐Ÿ’  Scalable learning distribution
 ๐Ÿ’  AI-assisted content creation
๐Ÿ’  Clear credit tracking for members
 ๐Ÿ’  Flexible branding and customization
 ๐Ÿ’  Improved reporting and analytics

For organizations managing professional education programs, these enhancements help ensure learning programs remain efficient, scalable, and engaging for members.
