What’s New in TopClass: June 2026 Release Highlights

We’re excited to share what’s new in the May 2026  TopClass release. This update builds on some of the powerful capabilities introduced earlier this year — especially Learning Contracts and the AI Test Generator — while also bringing a range of practical improvements for administrators, learners, and reporting teams.

In short: this release is all about making TopClass more flexible, more efficient, and easier to manage at scale.

See why organizations trust our award-winning LMS to power their learning programs. Watch a quick tour of TopClass!

Smarter Pricing for a Better Purchase Experience

One of the standout updates in this release is support for multiple price plans per user. That means when a learner browses the catalog, TopClass can automatically apply the lowest valid price available to them. Whether that results in a discounted purchase or even free enrollment, it helps ensure users get the best available option without extra effort.

We’ve also expanded reporting in this area, with updates to the Sales and Completed Transactions reports so teams can better track how price plans are being used.

AI Test Generator Now Handles Longer Video Transcriptions

Following the beta rollout of the AI Test Generator in February, this release expands its capabilities to support longer video transcriptions.

Even better, transcription now happens in the background, so administrators can keep working while processing completes. Once everything is ready, they’ll receive a notification. It’s a simple but meaningful improvement that makes AI-assisted test creation more practical in day-to-day use.

Learning Contracts Continue to Grow

Learning Contracts were introduced earlier this year, and this release significantly expands what they can do.

The focus here has been on making Learning Contracts feel more integrated with the rest of TopClass. New capabilities now support things like group associations, valid period alignment, restricted access, auto-enrollment, and even the ability to rename contracts more easily from the dashboard.

These changes make Learning Contracts more scalable and easier to manage, especially for organizations that need tighter control over invitations, enrollment behavior, and reporting consistency.

New iMIS Integration Support for Learning Contracts

For customers using iMIS, there’s also an important new workflow enhancement: users can now create a Learning Contract directly from the iMIS shopping cart.

This makes it much easier to purchase and distribute seats in bulk, giving organizations a more streamlined way to manage group learning access across teams or departments.

More Control for Admins

Administrative flexibility is another theme in this release.

Super Administrators can now grant more targeted privileges to admin users, including access to:

💠  Reports
💠 Customizations
💠 Read-only user views

This gives teams more options to delegate work without opening up full system access, helping strike a better balance between control and efficiency.

Better Test Setup and Learner Feedback Options

We’ve also introduced several updates to test configuration and review behavior, many of them based on client feedback.

These include:

💠 Splitting Hide Test Feedback into more specific controls
💠 Letting learners flag questions for review
💠 Giving admins more control over answer visibility after failed tests
💠 Allowing question text to be hidden for unanswered or flagged questions

Together, these changes give administrators more flexibility in how assessments are delivered and reviewed, while improving the learner experience during testing.

Small Enhancements That Make a Big Difference

Beyond the headline features, this release also includes a number of practical enhancements across the platform. These include:

💠 Accessibility updates to maintain WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards
💠 Improvements to My Credits Report
💠 Updates to the Test Responses and ILT Sessions List reports
💠 Support for general partition catalog categories
💠 Easier setup for Personify SSO integration
💠 New support for adding custom menu items in the navigation panel

These updates may be smaller individually, but together they help improve usability, reporting accuracy, and platform administration.

Final Thoughts

The next release continues our focus on making TopClass more adaptable, efficient, and user-friendly. From smarter pricing and stronger admin controls to expanded AI functionality and deeper Learning Contract support, this update delivers meaningful improvements across the platform.
